Selected work
Anonymized examples from my work leading IT at a mid-sized manufacturer. Client, system and vendor names are left out on purpose.
AI-assisted internal development
Built a safe way for IT to develop with AI tools: Git workflows, read-only access patterns to the ERP, and staff training. More than 170 commits across 20 repositories in five weeks, mostly my own.
A governed Power BI and Fabric data environment
Moved reporting from Tableau to Power BI in March 2024. Shared data models replaced unrestricted self-service, and the team was trained to build reports under review.
ERP upgrade with staged validation
Removed a 32-bit compatibility bottleneck that had lasted more than a year, after proving the conversion in a test environment first. The cutover had no downtime.
An IT delivery framework and operating model
Cut typical project delivery from about 3 months to about 2 weeks, and replaced an estimated $180K to $250K a year in consulting with an in-house team. 14 projects have closed so far in 2026.
Cutting ERP vendor spend by bringing work in-house
Yearly ERP vendor spend fell from $42K (2023) to about $18K (2026 estimate) after custom development moved in-house with AI-assisted tools.
A production status board
A shop-floor status display. I rebuilt it from scratch on made-up data so you can try it: see the demo in the Lab.
